February Giveaway

This month I'm giving away a new leather wrist cuff from my Etsy shop. I will be adding it to my store this week. As a sneek peek, I'm giving it away in a contest this month. All you have to do is answer the following question below. I will pick the best answer from all applicants and will notify/post the winner within 24 hours of the contest ending. This leather cuff is part of my new Spring leather collection and is not sized at this time. It will fit at least a wrist size of 7.5inches.

The contest starts Sunday January 31st 8:00pm EST and ends Wednesday February 10th 8:00pm EST. Please make sure when you answer the questions to include your email so I can contact you. Happy answering!

In relation to world events that have taken place, people all over have amassed to donate to Haiti's relief- especially on Etsy. :) I want to know:

What have you done or do for charity? Soup kitchen? Tell me!

We volunteer at the local Goodwill thrift stores on the weekend. It feels really nice to help out.

On tuesday evenings our church hands-out groceries to families in need. Myself and other members of our church set-up and hand out food to individuals & families no questions asked greet everyone with a smile. Give them a box full of groceries that have been donated by local business within our community. Items like, Bread, meats, cheese, fruits, vegatables, cereal, can goods, etc. This is one project I truly enjoy working on and will continue to work at it within my community who has a very high rate of unemployed people.

My famiyl and I help out at the local SPCA chapter. There is a kennel there we cater to bathing, feeding, and playing with the animals. Sometimes we take them out to other vendor areas hoping they get adopted. I love my time there!

I really haven't donated until I saw what was happening with Haiti. I have a few friends that were on a mission trip down there when it happened and the sheer consequences of not hearing from them has really made me step up. I've been donating to both the Red Cross and shopping Etsy. Even though I can't afford to donate thousands of dollars I think every little bit will help.

I think it's awesome what you're doing too. Thanks for helping!

I volunteer twice a month at a soup kitchen in my downtown area. There are alot of people in need of guidance and cheering. We offer them an ear to talk to and a free meal. I've had a very positive experience there.

We offer a craft chop shop for those in need. Sort of like a chop shop except we're legal. ;) A friend of mine and I started this co-op among all of our friends. We take old crafts & projects, disassemble and then reassemble them into new ideas. We sell our projects for charity and all proceeds stay in our town to help the homeless. It's a worthwhile cause!
